This sweater is absolutely destroyed with extremely heavy game use, abuse and well-documented fight damage.  Good stick and puck marks/general wear showing throughout front body highlighted by a right hem littered with repair work over Springy blue dasher paint transfer and damage. Heavy areas of blood staining all over front left chest, shoulder and upper portion of left sleeve; left  shoulder seam reinforced with team repair work. Both sleeves littered with heavy wear, repairs, board burns, Springy blue board paint and excellent general filth. Right shoulder/top part of right sleeve hammered with repaired damage from board burns and more of the same dasher blue paint. Both numbers on both sleeves show slimier paint transfers and board burns. Back body shows more of the same consistency wear from grinding game play with scattered stick and puck marks and more areas of blue paint transfers and subsequent repairs. Back right hem showing good game use, repairs and material snagging. 

Some yellowing showing through nameplate from stick ‘em tack spray used when re-attaching after back neck fight damage. Hectic  inside wear showing as well with most team repairs reinforced with small cut-out knit plates, fight strap looks to actually be in excellent shape

This is also the very jersey worn during Clark’s famous Moonwalk goal celebration after scoring v New Haven at the Civic Center.
Notably, this is the first year in Springy for AirKnit jerseys (knits used 1984/5 thru 1987/88) - small style CCM embroidered patch in red, red, blue sequence on back right hem

Clark fought no less than 14 times at the Civic Center in this sweater including bouts vs Jim Hofford (Nov 4), Jamie Huscroft (Nov 12), Wayne Van Dorp (Nov 26), Bob Bodak (Dec 3), Kent Carlson and Mark Hatcher (Dec 10), Randy McKay (Dec 23* bout was at Civic Center however Springy wore road blue jerseys in this game), Jim Culhane and Al Tuer (Dec 30), Brian Verbeek (Feb 5), Brian Hoard (March 4), Eric Germain (March 17), and both Serge and Mario Roberge (March 18).
